Most neuromodulation today is delivered to an approximated location. Avano Neuroscience uses structural and functional MRI to build a three-dimensional model of the brain and to generate a patient-specific treatment coordinate, derived from the relationship between the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and the subgenual anterior cingulate. Optical tracking then holds the coil on that coordinate in space.
